7 Questions – The Writers: Natasha
Welcome Natasha, a novelist and English and Theater Arts teacher who transitioned on the job.
I appreciate her reminder that we’re capable of accepting differences even if we don’t understand or approve of them. It’s a simple but powerful conceptual shift we can all work on. At one point in my pre-transition life I carried around a slip of paper that read “other people’s values are not a threat to your own.” I did this because friends had pointed out that I was…well, a judgmental prick.
I’m also verrrry excited that Natasha and I share an obsession: Hamlet. We’re so gonna talk about that.
