7 Questions – Natalie

Natalie Reed is one of a handful of bloggers who I try to keep up with, no easy task given how prolific she is.  I suggest you do the same, particularly if you have any interest in trans-feminism, gender, sexuality, neurology, or just like to keep abreast of all thing trans.  Or My Little Pony. I’d also recommend following her on Twitter (as well as Patience Newbury; their conversations make for some of the finest eavesdropping available online).

In her own words, “she was born with a Y chromosome but totally kicked its ass.”

Thanks Natalie.

I can personally affirm that Natalie is just as lovely, articulate, and beautiful in person! Very lucky to have her so active and positive for our community.

Emily, I totally agree. I’m a genuine fan of Natalie’s writing. She’s one of the thinkers I turn to in order to orient myself as I work through particular issues. One additional merit of SNR, and an unusual one in this information & commentary saturated milieu, is the amount of commentary it generates. Her posts regularly receive at least 50 comments, and often up to a 100, which makes it one of the few places, outside of Twitter, where real conversation about these issues take place.

I hope anyone who visits this site makes her site part of their regular reading.

I was already a fan of Natalie’s from Skepchick (another blog she writes for that isn’t mentioned — talk about prolific!). So nice to hear her contribution to this project.
